Oh India, You Can’t Even Take A Joke | AIB Knockout To Be Investigated

The worst has happened.

Last week, we finally begun to think that Indian Stand Up is finding a niche for itself, after we saw the hilarious AIB Roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. But ofcourse, India does not know how to take a joke.

For once, we thought that however it was, whatever it was, it was indeed very progressive. But ofcourse, this is against the Indian culture.

Who the fuck complained?

Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha

What the fuck was his problem?

According to him, the show was extremely abusive and it is not only ruining the clean image of the Indian culture & women, but is also misleading today’s youth.
“I sought action against the event organisers and other performers as well, who passed dirty comments with such audacity. The police action would be a deterrent to them so that they would not dare to do such acts publicly in future,” said Tiwari.

Whom is the fuck-tard-ish complain against?

Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, the show organizers among others. He calls them the “so-called youth icons of India”

What are the police saying?

“We have received the written complaint. We are inquiring into the matter. Once we reach a conclusion, appropriate action would be initiated, if required.”

What is AIB saying?

They tweeted the following :

B811V5zCcAIR0QNWhoever these idiots filing complaints for no rhyme or reason are, should go and find out the real issues which are plaguing the country, the real issues which are biting into the indian culture. A show which is making millions of people LAUGH is not BAD. A show which is making people HAPPY is not against our culture.

File complaints against domestic violence, file them against corruption, file them against child labour, inequality, and a tonne of other things which are actually plaguing India.

We just hope, that no unwanted action is take, and the comics can continue to make us laugh.

  1. ask Mr.tiwari to get a life plz… just be concerned about the issues damaging the society and nation’s image.
and the show is just being broadcasted on youtube not on a national tv.

    • What is this ‘culture’ you are talking about? India is a free, democratic country and everyone needs to respect that. You are entitled to your opinion about the show- but YOU are spoiling Indian values by trying to curb freedom. That said, if you think a simple comedy show put up on YouTube spoils Indian culture you have no idea what culture is in the first place.

The fact is you are insecure you do whatever u want but when it comes to judgment everything gets clear if you think AIB is absolutely correct and have no problem then why ur so afraid let the action begins and if they are doing really wrong then they should be punished and uf u know that this is wrong then slap urself! Even after knowing that it is wrong still you are justifying this i have no concern with this show but i have faith in judicial system, law of India if they are fine then nothing will happen and if they did wrong then they should be punished freedom of expression doesn’t mean supporting and promoting wrong things and if u that it is wrong and still you are favoring it than slap yourself

  6. That event was damm hilarious. And i will be waiting to watch more events like this in future. I must say that whoever Mr. Tiwari is, he and people like him should stop doing such complaints…. I mean common let this country be our country dont screw our country any more pleaseee. And i believe as strong as u believe in what u believe that this event was awesome…… And the culture that people like you want in India is becoming the reason in some ways that the youth of India is moving to other countries like Canada or London and many more. Please stop doing this and let the INDIAN youth live.

  7. The show clearly mentioned it’s 18+ and contains serious vulgar and obscene language.
Still watching it and complaining about that is like smoking cigarettes and then complaining about lung cancer.
    Seriously this is so stupid.

    Like

    • Exactly, everyone who is complaining is a total hypocrite. Its not like a movie where they paid the ticket and had to watch it. It’s just a show on YouTube – if you don’t like it close it. I can’t believe people who hated it sooo much have all watched the entire show- how ridiculous is that!

  8. Some of it was funny, but way too much of pointless abusing. They were just swearing for the heck of it. It’s all right for adults, but the youth may pick up some wrong things. Yes it’s 2015, but we do have some culture left.

    Like

    • What is the ‘culture’ you are referring to here? There are many politicians who act very religious and ‘cultured’ and decent but are a black hole of corruption and selfishness. Most of the guys who were part of the roast are broad-minded guys who don’t judge women based on clothes etc. I think they are much more cultured that so-called ‘cultured’ people. You are entitled to your opinion, I just feel In India we still give too much value to how someone looks and what they wear and how they speak- and not to what a people really are. Compare any of the guys in the roast to Mr. Akhilesh Tiwari for real and see for yourself who is more ‘cultured’.

      • That show isn’t like a 18+ movie or other 18+ content, that was a show which held in public that’s why it is now associated with CULTURE and have objections.
If you think these guys are more cultured, think of a society where everyone abuses openly even to women in the name of humour
but you cultured guys have to understand the broad difference b/w humour and humiliation.
And kiara stop calling Mr. tiwari or others as hypocrites on your surmise, they are watched the show to look whether it was humourous or humiliating
everyone do not act on surmise

  9. “Ruining the clean image of Indian culture” u say? I would say just turn the news back on and see how clean our Indian culture already is… With rapes happening everywhere, children being molested, corruption in every nooks and corners, u say India has a clean image? I think that’s the joke here…Mr. Tiwari…plz get a life and get that big fat ‘bamboo’ out of ur arse…

    Like

      • the idea of the show was not to stop rape but just simple entertainment. maybe not according to everyone’s liking’s but it does not mean it should be deemed “unethical”. where is it written in the Hindu culture that abusing is a sin and not acceptable.
all im saying is instead of criticizing such shows and wasting time on such pointless allegations india should concentrate on the more bigger issues and highlight them the way they highlighted this show.

  10. Mr. Tiwari,

It is great that you do think of “Clean” image of Indian Culture and Women. But I would like to know why suddenly I am hearing your sanstha’s name. Forgive me for my ignorance.

The video clearly had a disclaimer that it is filthy, rude and vulgar, then why did you feel like watching in the first place. I am sure you must have laughed through out.

Moreover what culture are you talking of….ohhh I guess you meant Indian culture and values that are instilled in the youths who have been raping girls (happening prior to release of this video) all over the country.

Are you just lodging this complaint for the publicity of your sanstha?. You might have thought that “Chalo yaar bahut din se humko publicity nahi mili hai…toh aaj kuch toofani karte hai”.
If you really care of Indian culture and values please do something where it matters.

  11. 1) The show was not televised.
    2) People paid for highly priced tickets for the show. This means, the only people who attended it were those who WANTED to.
    3) Before the show began, the audience was cautioned that the material could be found extremely offensive by many and those who would, were advised to leave.

    Therefore, it follows:
Those who watched the show – either live or recorded – watched it with complete knowledge of the content, either at a private gathering or over the Internet. Neither is a crime.

  14. Oh it’s absolutely true. In my experience Indians are very nationalistic (which is not a problem, I love my country too) who get pissed off over everything that might damage the reputation of the their country. Over a year ago a post on our blog went viral about a man who supposedly got eaten in India. Our site may have been the victim of a hoax but the Indian comments were quite extreme. Like we just claimed that all Indian men are pedophiles and all women are huge sluts or something. I mean, in a country with over a billion people you probably have some weird deaths a year right? Anyway, props for the post and here’s the link of mine if you wanna check out some comments: http://lordsofthedrinks.com/2013/11/27/python-eats-drunk-man-in-india/

  15. according to to section 294 based on which the FIR is filed, it says that no obscenity in a public place.

NOW this show was NOT public.
It was NOT forced upon anyone.
you had a choice of watching it or not.

like many other things like porn (not comparing to it though) it was on internet.Thats all. so those who are saying this has offended them pleas GTFO. no one forced you to watch. please stop being such haters and get a life.

  16. such type of shows are eating indian cultures, by saying the show attended by those who wanted to see it is totally meaningless, tomorrow some organiser would say they will stage a topless show or the f*cking show, should that also be OKAY ?just because the people who want to watch had watched

if people like VED or like minded want to hear watch vulgar material ,have with your friends in private but for atleast God’s sake do not be a part of ruining indian culture with these mad vulgar AIB freaks , the full form itself shows theirs and their show’s credentials .

    • The show was private. The tickets were very expensive, so people who really wanted to watch the show went for it. The video on YouTube has enough and more warnings in the beginning about its content. If you still chose to watch it, you have no right to complain. About topless shows and ‘fucking’ shows, it isn’t possible as it IS against the law. The show that AIB put up did not infringe any laws.

And Mr. Ram, if you really want to abuse in your comment, say the word. Don’t censor the word ‘fuck’. You technically are using abusive language, might as well have the balls to say it.

      Like

      • 1. The show was organised for all public who buys the ticket not a specific member of any organisation
        2. There is no restriction to any person except he have the ticket,
        3. Any person who can afford to buy the ticket can buy and
        4. Obviously it is not the b’day party or a family function
so Mr. Bhavesh let us know how the show was private, atleast this show do not fit in the ambit of ‘PRIVATE’
and one more thing there was/is no need to abuse, go through again I meant “the live show with explicit contents”.

and I am sure if the show with that theme organised this community defensing the AIB will defense that too with same arguments…. private show , content warning, who wanted to see only sees etc..
and FYI making derogatory gestures, abusive languages for women is crime under IPS’s Public Order Act 1986, Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986

  17. then go where people can take your joke…, u are earning from abuses just like sluts use to.. because you dont have caliber to serve sense nor you have guts or talent to produce quality things though that AIB took a short cut as well as the so called actors or the viewers…

and if you think that AIB is doing right thing and for the people and if you have guts in real then make it to be implemented in school syllabus and in texts. and stop carrying candles at rape incidents stop reacting when somebody passes vulgar comments on your sister or daughter because may be you dont have that much sense of humor as the teaser have. Ignorance of fact is not an excuse and Akhilesh Tiwari did great to stop morons and the so called celebrities. hope police and law would do the same with those senseless people.

  18. Well some people support such shows and some don’t. I feel its OK to conduct such shows in closed doors but it should not shared on YouTube for the following reasons.

    1. Yes people who are interested will only watch it on YouTube. But think of immatured kids of 15 years old who will get spoiled seeing such abusive language from their icons. People in US are returning to their culture because the kids are becomming useless and getting pregnant in 13 years of age. Don’t you think we need to save our culture?

    2. We make the society what films show and how our great film actors behave. Imagine u traveling with your sister or mother and the people besides you start talking such abusive language?

    3. How many of us use such abusive language with our friends. I guess education teaches us to be human beings and not behave like animals.

    4. Just few days back deepika padukone was too much angry when some article mentioned about her breast. She mentioned that every women has breast and why do we talk of breast and penis. Then why is she in such a show which uses abusive language which did include penis and vagina?

  19. What rubbish. Don’t we have freedom to see and watch what we like???

Ranveer ka lund, deepika ka chut. Woh kuch bhi bole. Kaun badwa hai Jo case dalta hai. Benchod ki gaand marna chahiye. Saale ka Lund khada bhi nahi hota hoga. Hilayega kaisa????

Sorry but am sure u got irritated by my comments. End of the day no one wants our future to be like this. Being a girl am sorry for such comments in public. Am sure my message is clear. We need to save our culture and our future.
