An Advertising War Between Common Floor and Housing Has Gone Viral On The Internet!

Ambush Marketing is our favourite form of Advertising, and a lot of ambushing is happening between Housing Dot Com and Common Floor Dot Com.

Housing, recently revamped their entire brand, and came up with a brand new hoarding “Start your new life today, Look up”, and then this is what Common Floor did to them :

You’d thought the war would end there, but wait, aren’t we all Mad Over Marketing. Enter a reply from Housing Dot Com, a very half-hearted one we would say.

The above hoardings went viral on the internet, and companies starting jumping in on the bandwagon, and started photoshopping their own images as another hoarding, right above the existing ones.

The winner of the day, surely was Asian Paints, which came up with a gem of a reply!

But that didn’t stop brands from adding even more jokes to the already viral image.

And some more…

That is when a user came up with a very witty reply to the marketing shenanigans going on. Hilarious indeed.

There were some which seemed very out of place

And finally someone said, “back pain because of all the looking up? visit our medical clinic”

Sigh, marketing. Madness indeed.
