Zomato’s Doing What Amul Does, And A Pretty Good Job At That!

Amul is popular for their popular quips and jibes on contemporary events around the globe. When Yuvraj Singh was fighting cancer, this is what they released :

Basically, idea is to make a pun on all contemporary events. Something which registers well with the audience, creates shareability, and hence turns out to be a successful marketing campaign.

Zomato, which has always been spot on with their creatives (No really they are), seems to have taken a cue from this and is using their biggest marketing skill (witty creatives), to create contemporary puns of their own.
