Let us explain why we’re being mad over poetry all of a sudden.
You know how typically most “sale” ads are pretty much about crying hoarse shouting SALE! SALE! SALE! Well, Snapdeal has taken a refreshingly different route. A poetic route.
Okay first things first, has Aamir put on a few pounds there?! We aren’t the only ones who noticed, btw!
That aside though, we like the idea of using cheesy humour to get people happy, and then drop the happy news of Sale, Sale, Sale!
The whole Snapdeal Diwali campaign’s been getting a lot of traction, with a whole bunch of teaser ads featuring Aamir and lots of tweeting! An integrated quiz around the campaign made #SnapdealDiwaliComingSoon trend #1 on Twitter in India. Not bad for getting the buzz going, we say!
Fun campaign, Snapdeal. Aaaaand now let’s wait for the Monday pre-sale and see what the buzz is about then! 😀
